WHAT WE ARE
The board of directors is a group of diversified, respected and highly skilled martial artists. They have committed their life to the advancement and education of the martial arts. Together their skill and knowledge of the martial arts makes them uniquely qualified to administer and establish evaluations and testing criteria.
WHAT WE REPRESENT
The board of directors ensures the integrity, growth, and recognition of all of its members. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality martial arts education and strive to provide a conduit for martial artists who have exhibited the moral, mental, and physical attributes consistent with the true values of the martial arts.
WHAT WE DO
As a national and international certification headquarters for the World Multi Martial Arts Federation Committee the Governing Board oversees and validates individual membership, school memberships, rank certification, teaching certification, grades certification, grandmaster, professor, soke, certifications and awards.
The governing board will formally review and validate candidates for induction into the WMMAFC hall of fame. This process assures that only qualified candidates meet the high standards of the WMMAFC hall of fame and that those who are accepted are among the “best of the best” in their chosen field.
All testing, promotions, rank certification, teaching credentials and awards will be administered by the governing board. The governing board will have full authority to review candidate applications and supporting material, to establish testing criteria and to evaluate each test. They may as needed create evaluation committees to assist in any promotion or testing. They may contact the prospective candidate for more information as necessary. Upon satisfactory review, the Governing Board shall authorize and invite the prospective candidate to test or be certified. All candidates must receive a majority vote of the governing board to be promoted or certified.                       

HOW WE DO IT
The Governing Board will meet yearly (times, dates and frequency to be determined) to collaborate and schedule yearly events and requirements of the WMMAFC.
TRAINING SEMINARS
The board will recommend to the WMMAFC training seminars with recommendations from its members. Individual, School, Gym, Association and Federation Memberships.
The board will review and validate memberships. As applications for memberships are received all members of the board will receive a copy of the application. Copies will be distributed by a WMMAFC. The copy will generally be done electronically but may be done in person or by mail. Each member of the board will review the application in a reasonable amount of time and give their feedback and finale decision. The feedback and decision may be done electronically, by phone or in person. Once all members have made their decision a member of the board will notify the WMMAFC. The WMMAFC will contact the candidate and notify them. Board members may contact the WMMAFC or each other for further information or collaboration. A majority vote from the Governing Board is required for membership.
HALL OF FAME
The governing board will establish criteria’s for induction into the hall of fame. The governing board will formally review and validate candidates for induction into the WMMAFC hall of fame. This process assures that only qualified candidates meet the high standards of the WMMAFC hall of fame and that those who are accepted are among the “best of the best” in their chosen field.

TESTING (BLACK BELT AND teaching)
The board will review and validate candidates. As applications for testing are received all members of the board will receive a copy of the application. Copies will be distributed by the WMMAFC. Each member of the board will review the application in a reasonable amount of time and give their feedback and finale decision. The feedback and decision may be done electronically, by phone or in person. Once the governing board has made their decision a member of the board will notify the WMMAFC. The WMMAFC will contact the candidate and notify them. Board members may contact the WMMAFC or each other for further information or collaboration. A majority vote from the Governing Board is required for promotion.
The WMMAFC will collaborate with the WMMAFC Governing Board and arrange for a date and time for the candidate to test. All testing will be done in person at the candidate’s school and country, a seminar, a tournament or at the headquarters of the WMMAFC. All testing will be done by appointment only and only after application is approved by the governing board. The governing board will have full authority to review candidate application letters and supporting material, to establish testing criteria and to evaluate each test.
Testing will be done by one or all board members. The location will be determined by the WMMAFC and the candidate. The testing information gathered by the testing board member(s) will be shared with the governing board. After evaluation and deliberation a majority vote from the Governing Board is required for promotion.
