VOLUNTEERING WITH WMMAF
You can play a crucial role in WMMAF by serving as an WMMAF volunteer. As a not-for-profit organization, we look for volunteers who can support us with our daily operations and at events.
WMMAF is a growing organization, and with that comes responsibility, the need to maintain high standards, innovate and introduce new initiatives that develop the integrity of the sport.We have a truly diverse, modern, and multicultural organization and our primary purpose is to further develop MMA as an international sport.
Volunteering within our departments
We offer a unique and exciting work environment with great opportunities within a range of our departments.We have a small but growing team, which makes it the perfect time for you to grow with us.
You could be working within Governance, Membership, Anti-Doping, Marketing, or one of the other teams, assisting with day-to-day tasks or project work. We have several interesting projects that arise throughout the year, so there could also be an opportunity to move from one project to another.
Volunteering at events
Hosting WMMAF Championships is no easy task. The help of everyone is needed and volunteers offer crucial support in all parts of the operation. Your tasks may include delivering equipment to athletes, assisting with athlete registration, supporting the media team, or being part of delivering new processes.
As volunteers, you could be involved in assisting with event operations before, during, and after the WMMAF Championships. You will be expected to play an active role in creating a safe, positive, and exciting atmosphere that complies with WMMAF’s high standards and protocols, as well as contributing to the overall success of the WMMAF Championships.
You will have a chance to get behind the scenes of our events, get closer to the action and play a role in making the event possible!
